We offer self catering cottages for groups from 2 to 10 around
Loch Melfort in a beautiful natural setting.The estate covers 150
acres of headland including hill walks, forest landscapes and
stunning views across the loch.
Ardenstur Cottages are ideal for a tranquil break away from it
all, to explore nature, to pursue fishing and water activities, or
as a base to explore the surrounding area. At the end of the
day exploring, what could be better than relaxing in front of
your own log fire?
We had an amazing long weekend the scenery has to be seen to be believed. I highly recommend the cottages to anyone looking to get away from it all - the easter weather was great.
The views across Loch Melfort have to be seen to be believed, the area around the grounds are very peaceful and great for walks.
There is lots of wildlife in and around the site to enjoy. The children caught sight of a deer and there is a whole array of birds, along with Percy the onsite Pheasant!
The cliff walks are lovely; at dusk you can walk around to the headland and enjoy the sunset. It’s a very unique place; we plan to go again in the summer.
Shore Cottage is very picturesque, it’s very peaceful and a real treat to be so close to the Loch and take in the sights, a great choice for a small family.
