Where is the nearest pub?

The nearest pub is in the village of Kilmelford, approx. 3 miles

Where can I buy groceries?

The village shop in Kilmelford has basic supplies, however all the major supermarkets have stores in Oban.

Are there any restaurants nearby?

The closest is at Melfort Pier, half a mile along the shore. There is also one at the Melfort Club about one mile away. The Loch Melford Hotel, about 10 minutes drive, has two eateries.

Do you accept pets?

Yes, we accept well behaved pets however we charge an extra £15 per pet to cover any extra cleaning that may be required at the end of your visit. Please be aware that there are grazing sheep in the surrounding fields and hills.

What are the Sat Nav directions?

If you have sat nav it will take you to Melfort Pier which is approx one mile before our cottages. Keep going past the pier for approx one mile - here you will see Shore Cottage on your left. Continue past Shore up the hill (sharp right turn) and at the top turn left onto a gravel drive. Top Ardenstur is immediately to your left as you turn in. Continue on over the cattle grid (Croft to your left) and bear right up the gravel track to Ardenstur House.
